Ignite Programme
We’ll provide the spark to help you realise your full potential! The UWS Ignite programme focuses on providing our students and staff with the opportunity to discover, define, develop and deliver their ideas and businesses through our creative workshop series. You will then take these developed ideas and enter our competition which will include fantastic prizes, mentorship and development opportunities.

Demola Programme
The University of the West of Scotland and Demola Global jointly launched the Demola Scotland programme. With Demola, the most motivated and talented generation Z representatives of Scotland work in globally distributed teams, designing foresight scenarios and creating positive change in the world.

Applications will reopen in the Autumn 2025.
Converge
Converge is on the hunt for researchers, creators and inventors from Scotland’s universities who are ready to bring their cutting-edge solutions to real-world problems.
